Mobile Development

Solution proposal
Developed within the Open Tog program—a Tog Lab initiative dedicated to the creation and evolution of new ideas—the app was designed to support farmers, ranchers, and agronomists in the complete management of farms, crops, and day-to-day activities. At Open Tog, we transform ideas from paper into real solutions, tested and developed with a focus on impact. The solution gathers essential field information into a practical and intuitive platform, enabling better planning, operational monitoring, and strategic decision-making. With features aligned to the agricultural routine, the app optimizes management, increases efficiency in activity control, and connects technology to the real needs of the field.
Features
Dashboard

Property overview with key indicators, crop status, activity performance, and news preview.
Weather

Weather forecasts and smart alerts to support field activity planning.
Activity log

Field activity records, crop season tracking, and production history.
News

A dedicated space for relevant and up-to-date content from the agricultural sector, keeping producers informed.
Strategic Design
The project went through a Strategic Design process with the participation of real people from the field: farmers, ranchers, and professionals with hands-on experience in daily rural routines. During an immersive afternoon, we fostered a collaborative environment to exchange experiences, understand real needs, and discuss challenges faced in the field. This session generated valuable insights into processes, pain points, and essential features, guiding ideation, prototyping, and the evolution of the solution. Active listening and co-creation with end users were fundamental to developing a product aligned with the reality of the field and the true needs of its users.

From field challenges to a digital solution
We transformed real rural day-to-day pain points into practical solutions, designed together with those who live and work in the field.
Challenges
Decentralized management
Farm, crop season, and activity information scattered across spreadsheets, notebooks, and different systems, making control and visibility difficult.
Limited access to weather information
Weather checks performed manually or outside the daily workflow, impacting field activity planning.
Paper-based field work
Use of clipboards and handwritten notes, with a high risk of data loss, rework, and inconsistencies.
Lack of reliable history
Absence of structured historical data for analysis, production tracking, and decision support.
Solutions
Centralized management
Unified control of farms, crop seasons, and activities in a single platform, providing a clear and organized operational view.
Accessible and integrated weather
Quick access to weather conditions directly within the app, integrated into the producer’s routine to support planning.
Digital field records
Replacement of paper with real-time digital records, ensuring greater security, agility, and data reliability.
Organization and complete history
Consolidation of data into a structured history, enabling analysis, production monitoring, and strategic decision-making.
