Tog comes from together

We work alongside our clients as a technical partner: we decide together what to build, we build it with engineering, design and AI, and we take responsibility for what goes to production.

Along the way, we develop people. Tog Lab was founded in 2016 in Dois Vizinhos, in southwestern Paraná, Brazil, and today works with clients in 14 countries.

Mission: to design products and services that evolve continuously and grow sustainably, bringing together people, design, technology and business.

From São Francisco to San Francisco

Tog’s story starts in São Francisco, a village in rural Chopinzinho, Paraná, Brazil. From there, the team went on to work connected with clients and partners in San Francisco, Lisbon, Dubai and other places around the world.

Part of our purpose is giving the people who work here experiences with people from other countries: workshops in Lisbon, mentoring in Turin, engineers embedded in client teams in the US and Europe, and daily calls with colleagues across time zones. Cultural exchange is what develops people and professionals the most.

Initiatives

What Tog does beyond client projects, so the team can learn, connect and open doors for people who are just starting out.

Truly remote — A team spread across several countries. You agree on a routine with your squad and work from wherever you are.
Clients in 14 countries — Real products for companies in Brazil, Europe, the US and the Middle East, with direct contact with the people who use them.
AI in everyday work — You work with AI-Accelerated: AI agents, harness and review, on projects and in internal training.
Learn from people who have done it — Guidance from the people who lead the projects, Tog Talks with more than 30 speakers and Open Tog to test ideas.
Cultural exchange — Workshops in Lisbon, mentoring in Turin and colleagues from other countries on the same project. It is part of Tog’s purpose.
One gathering a year — The annual retreat brings the team together to plan, review the work done and spend time together away from the screen.

AI speed, with a person approving every stage: AI-Accelerated is Tog Lab’s way of building software with AI: AI agents do the heavy lifting across seven stages, and a person approves each one before the next begins.
Work with Tog Lab: Real projects from your first month, colleagues in several countries and someone on the team reviewing your work with you. See the open positions, add your profile to the talent pool or join through the trainee program.
Talk to us: Tell us what you need. Someone from business and someone from engineering on our team will reply within 1 business day.
Frequently asked questions: The questions that come up most before and during work with Tog Lab, with the new terms explained in plain words.
Home: Tog Lab works in four ways: we build your digital product, embed engineers and designers in your team, bring AI-powered development into your environment and train your teams.
Innovation through research, co-creation and testing before you build: We help leadership decide what is worth building. We research with the people who use it, co-create with your team and test the idea with real people before the first line of code.
The driverless car and AI-assisted software development: An autonomous car can drive because it runs inside a structure that limits, observes and corrects every maneuver. AI that writes code needs the same structure.
Task as a Service: agents running tasks, with a person accountable for the result: Reconciling a transaction, answering a ticket, logging a field visit. Once AI agents can carry out tasks like these from start to finish, a company can buy the task done, and the way the work is designed changes with it.
Insights: Articles from the team on software engineering, AI, innovation and governance, drawn from work on real projects.
Tog Lab engineers and designers inside your team: People dedicated to your product, full time or part time. You interview them before they start, a Tog Lab professional reviews the code and you get a report every month.

A new brand and website to take Brazilian lighting to international markets: Accord Iluminação is a leading Brazilian maker of decorative lighting with wood finishes. To enter new markets, the company brought in Tog Lab to redesign its brand and website.
Water efficiency in Portugal, from resident research to AQUA+: ADENE, Portugal’s energy agency, wanted a program to bring water efficiency to buildings, with buy-in from the people who use water every day. Tog, then called Tog Design, ran the research and a five-day design sprint together with Productized. One of the outcomes was the formalization of AQUA+, the
From weeks to less than a day per dashboard at an investment advisory firm: Tog Lab replaced the BI tool with a custom web application and installed AI-Accelerated, Tog Lab’s model for AI-accelerated development, in the client’s environment. The business team now requests dashboards in plain language, approves the plan before execution and ships improvements reviewed by a T
After the redesign, users started contacting support to praise the system: CHB has been developing software for more than 30 years. CHB Agro manages the farm from inputs to getting the harvest to market. Tog Lab redesigned the system’s experience, from information architecture to components.
An app for finding healthy meals in Copenhagen and Lisbon, designed for people who are always on the move: Genki, based in Denmark, wanted to help travelers and digital nomads eat well in every city they visit. Tog Lab designed the strategy, the app and the visual identity, with feedback points built in so the product could evolve based on real use.
A website with a product catalog the manufacturer keeps up to date on its own: Grupo Doce D’ocê makes frozen bakery products under the Panutti and Frühling brands. Tog Lab built the custom website, the online catalog and the portal where the group’s team updates products and information.
Social services redesigned for the people who serve families: IDS Systems provides municipal governments with a social services management system. Tog Lab went into the field with the people who use the system every day and redesigned the experience. The new interface reduced usage questions and made it possible to bring new municipalities onto the system with
From service blueprint to platform, for people moving to Portugal: moviinn® helps people and companies relocate to Portugal. For more than a year, Tog Lab modeled the service, designed the website and created the first digital products to bring the relocation process onto a platform.
Nato Bom: selling direct to consumers without leaving distribution behind: Laticínio Mangoni has made cheese under the Nato Bom brand since 1993 and sells it in supermarkets across southern Brazil through sales representatives. In a design sprint with Tog, the company designed a direct-to-consumer channel that works alongside its suppliers and distributors. The channel tes
A standard set of screens and components to customize a white-label app for each client in less time: Screencorp offers Phonecorp, an internal communications app that each company receives with its own visual identity. Tog Lab organized the screen map, the components and asset generation, and trained the team on the new tool.
Connected agriculture, from the field to the cooperative: SuperAgro connects farmers, the people who advise them, and grain and credit cooperatives, all working from the same data and through the channel the farmer already uses. It started in Open Tog, the Tog Lab internal program that turns ideas into working products, and is now a Tog Lab spin-off.
An event’s attendees, inventory and deliveries in one place, even offline: The event management platform started in a client project and is becoming Tog Events, a Tog Lab product for companies that run events in multiple locations.
An enterprise social network redesigned around the people who use it, with new users uncovered in research: Viasoft develops business management software. Nela is the enterprise social network that connects people across an organization, with announcements, events, tasks and training. Tog Lab ran the user research and redesigned the web platform and the app.
Projects: AI-powered products, platforms and services we have built with clients in 14 countries since 2016.
Service as a Software: your customer receives the finished work: Instead of selling access to a tool, the company delivers the result: the report, the dashboard, the resolved ticket. AI agents run the repetitive tasks, one by one, and people on the team check them, make the decisions and are accountable for what is delivered.
From strategy to software in production: Business, design and engineering on one team, with the same method in every area and a Tog Lab professional reviewing every deliverable.
Tog comes from together: We work alongside our clients as a technical partner: we decide together what to build, we build it with engineering, design and AI, and we take responsibility for what goes to production.
Training in product, design, engineering and AI: What Tog Lab uses on its own projects becomes training for your team, from service design and design sprints to DevOps, testing and AI-accelerated development. The group practices on a real challenge from your company and leaves with the artifacts built in class.
